Muchas Gracias Mexican Food Menu

First visit was at the drive-thru. After a few minutes reading the massive menu board I had to ask for a chicken burrito meal which I was informed it was not on the board (really), it was a special. I got home to eat my chicken burrito, that's exactly what I got, dripping Chicken in a dry burrito shell. The black beans were nasty and the rice was tasteless. Too bad, I was looking for a good Mexican fast food.

So the first few times I went to this location, I was ok with the service. It was clean compared to most Muchas Gracias and I stayed safe ordering shredded beef. I'm a huge Mexican food fan and I only eat at a fast food joint like MG if I'm not able to get to my normal spots in town. They've always been a bit expensive for what you get. I went back a week ago and not only was the guy at the register off putting, the food was bland and the meat was terrible. I'm not even able to describe what they did to the ground beef, there appeared to be French fries included in the meat. And no actual seasonings. The fish tacos were overbooked and the sauce was not appealing. Will not be coming back. Too many good cheaper places in town.

Good food. Huge portions. I mean HUGE! 3 meals of 1 chimichanga plate. My chicken chimi had beans and cheese in it which I've never had IN a chimi, it was good but may ask for chicken only inside next time. Will be back for more!

An hour lunch should be enough to sit down for a meal, but I find that I feel rushed. Therefore, many of my meals out on my lunch break tend to be take out, taquerias or sometimes fast food, like Arby's. There is a smorgasbord of choices by Clackamas Town Center. Muchas Gracias is one of the newer options. I had been to other locations for the chili relleno several times, especially on trips to Lincoln City. Daily specials tend to catch my eye, and there are a couple of good ones at Muchas Gracias. They had a good chimichanga, good chile verde burrito. Today, I balked at my crunchy taco's $1.99 price tag...but it was well worth it. Their tender, juicy shredded chicken was fantastically addictive, with a real fried tortilla. I usually find chicken boring and don't choose it very often, but I doubt I'll stray from the chicken, especially since they don't offer Al Pastor here. So, a drive thru, good fast service, AWESOME salsa bar with molcajete sauce (try it!), lots of choices, decent prices, and perfect chicken. In terms of fast food joints, this would be a big 5 to me. Plus, when I do feel like a soda, this is one place that actually has Cherry Coke.

I love this franchise location it's way better then most, but lately I've noticed that there hygiene standards have fallen. We were the first people in the restaurant this morning and there was rice on the seats and floor from the previous night and the dusty ceiling fans made us move tables for fear of dust bunnies falling in our food I hope they hire a cleaning crew or I may not be back

Absolutely delicious. I had the carne asada fries with everything. Massive portions! I could only eat a third of it and ate the rest for breakfast the next day. The steak was flavorful. Pico was very fresh and neat. Very convenient to Clackamas town center. Nice place to stop for dinner after a movie. Bright and welcoming inside. Staff had plenty of smiles to share. Will return many times!

Excellent fast food option in the busy Clackamas Town Center area. Although there are arguably plenty of good places to eat in the area (inarguably there is no shortage of options), I always choose to eat here when I'm in the area. It's a combination of the quality of their delicious burritos and their affordability. I almost always go with the breakfast burrito which, at the time of this review, is a mere $4.95. And it is always so good. Sometimes I'll mix it up and get their carne asade nachos and one time I got one of the daily platter specials, and they have never disappointed. This location is very clean and includes a good selection of bottled soda (I recall Pepsi and Mountain Dew in glass bottles which was a cool bonus) as well as a TV usually on something sports related. If you're in the area and are looking for good, inexpensive fast food Mexican, I strongly recommend you go here.

I had been to one other Mucas Gracias location in the Beaverton area and had such a good experience that when I was craving Mexican food I wanted Muchas Gracias. I was so excited to find one near Clackamas town center, but was sorely disappointed when the order I got to go turned out to be the complete opposite of the great food I'd had in Beaverton. We ordered: two shredded beef chimichangas, a taco salad, and three breakfast burritos. My main issue comes from the breakfast burritos and chimichangas. The breakfast burritos were very bland, mostly due to the fact that soggy french fries were used as the potato insides. With the chimis the outsides were a very dark brown and fried to the point of being almost burnt.I am all for a slight crisp on the inside, but it was to a point where it really was not very good. Overall it might be just this location that is lacking, but in the end I recommend heading elsewhere.

This place is absolutely delicious! Way Better than Taco Bell and healthier I'd say! slightly less fresh than chipotle but if you're looking for delicious Mexican food to go I recommend this place! I love the chicken fries! Their guacamole and toppings are fresh, the fries are crispy and yummy! The staff here is friendly too! Pretty tasty food for reasonable prices!

Expectations aren't necessarily high at a fast food restaurant but this one certainly exceeded mine. From the clean bright interior, to the expansive menu, to the salsa bar including pickled jalapeños and carrots, to the large servings of tasty food that you can spice to your preference with a range of salsas, this place gets 5 stars. I had #15, the Chile Rellenos, large with lots of cheese inside plus red sauce, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream on top. Delicious!

Taste just like how it is in SD/TJ... Ordered a Carna Asada Burrito and it hit the spot. The following day, ordered the set of four tacos and again, it hit the spot. Taste like SD/TJ... You know it's good food when it reminds you of home.

Yummy tacos! I had four tacos: Adobada, carnitas, carne asada and chicken. All four were great. Service was with a smile and the small restaurant is very clean. Good all around.

Always good food, have yet to have a bad experience. We eat here regularly and have recommended this place to everyone. Only negative I can say is this location needs to have a value menu like the rest of the other locations

I said, "This is kind of silly, but I'm afraid of fish tacos." She replied, "Well it's talapia with tartar sauce and Mexican salsa." Her description was delectable so I had to try the Thursday special. I was not disappointed. My first ever fish taco was great. Thanks for redirecting date night!

I wish I would have like this place as much as other people had, but I left this place thinking it was bland. It seemed like my carne asada tacos were lacking a basic ingredient - salt. The complimentary sauces (I tried medium and hot) tasted like they came out of a bottle. Plus, they lacked the spicy flavor I was looking for. The service was very friendly and the place was pleasantly clean. However, due to my bland meal and many other Mexican places in the area, I cannot say whether I will return again.

For the price this place is quite yummy. They have great daily specials. The carne asada and shredded beef is the best!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
